Alvin Lee
Alvin Lee was born in Nottingham, England and began playing guitar at a young age, influenced by rock and roll and blues artists like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and B.B. King.
After Ten Years After disbanded in 1975, Alvin continued to tour and record as a solo artist, collaborating with other musicians and exploring different genres like country and jazz. He also reunited with Ten Years After for several reunion concerts and recordings over the years.
Alvin Lee passed away on March 6, 2013, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most influential guitarists of his generation. His technical skill, inventive improvisation, and soulful playing continue to inspire musicians and fans around the world.
